Since 1953, when my father first opened up our shop, we dedicated ourselves to fast, courteous, reliable service, even when our operation consisted of just one man and one stall. Just a few years later in 1958, the ground was broken for the first building at our location at 595 5th Avenue. Starting out with 2400 square feet, my father marketed to fleet customers and was able to grow the business by repairing the fleets for prominent local businesses like Borden Dairy, Jones’ Potato Chip Company, Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company, and United Parcel Service. Now, with a team of forty and forty stalls, and a growing crew of highly trained mechanics and auto body professionals, we can do any work your vehicle might need! We work with all insurance companies, provide AAA-approved service, and stand by a lifetime warranty with repairs.

At Baker’s, we believe auto repair is about more than fixing vehicles—it’s about taking care of people.
